The Jonathan Paul Cambry School of Music (JPC School) was founded in honor of Jonathan Paul Cambry, a gifted pianist, composer, and educator whose passion for music and dedication to students left an indelible mark on the world.

Jonathan began playing piano at the age of three, embarking on a lifelong journey that took him from the halls of the University of Chicago to prestigious performances worldwide. He was known for his mastery of the Romantic period, performing the works of Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and more with profound depth and artistry.

Beyond the stage, Jonathan’s heart belonged to music education. He believed that music should be accessible to all, regardless of background or financial means. Jonathan especially loved private music instruction, where he could nurture each student's unique talents, inspire confidence, and foster a deep appreciation for music through personalized guidance and mentorship. As the founder of the Chicago Piano Meetup Group and an advocate for community-driven music education, he dedicated his life to bringing people together through music.

At JPC School, we continue his mission by providing free and ultra-low-cost music education for young musicians, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of talent and passion.
